Believe in the Deeds of Your Service

By Tony J., Grade 12
I promised my service with full heart and dedication to Stanstead.

现在,当了两年的领结,我对“服务”这个词有了更好的理解.“献给那些渴望在未来几个月里获得同样荣誉的10年级和11年级学生, or for everyone sitting here, it is invaluable to learn the awareness to serve, or in simpler terms, helping somebody who is not yourself.

I am not religious. However, before every hockey game this year,

It’s not voodoo magic we are talking about here. It’s having faith that my action of service will be fruitful, and in some degree contributing to the success of my goal, which is to win the game. As the season goes on this faith gives me a sense of duty, and I find joy in serving the team this way, 也许它确实有助于我们的成功,毕竟,因为更快的冰球收集, the faster we can get into game mood.

I understand that we are still in high school,

So maybe for one moment, start serving someone other than you.

It’s the most efficient way to serve our team and yourself.
